    I have used this product many times over the past 8 years and I almost always have a problem with the connection. They make a connector that screws down with a wing handle on it that is 10 times better.

    If I was shopping for low voltage connectors again, I would not buy the crimp and sqeeze types. These crnk own connectors are much better – even though they are likely twice the price.

    The previous owner of my home had nice lighting along the garden path. Recently, I found there were uplights that pointed at the side of the house, but had fallen over behind the bushes and weren’t lighting up. They were beyond repair so I purchased new ones. The new ones plugged right into the cable, but they weren’t receiving any power. I followed the cable and in both instances, the cable wasn’t attached to anything. No wonder they didn’t get power! These connectors worked perfectly. The wing-nut tightened down easily and my new lights look great. Money well spent.
